Minutes from the March 5, 2007 Special Meeting with Lee Township Board of

Trustees and the Greendale Township Board of Trustees

The Clerk called the meeting held at the Lee Township Hall to order at 7:03 P.M. Present were Trustees Dale Wolfgang and Mike Glynn, Clerk Ron Rippee, and Treasurer

Ronald Rippee. Greendale Township quests Trustee David Mc Neill, Clerk Ruth Knapp, Treasurer Shirley Herron and Supervisor Jim LeViere were present. Fire Chief Jim Bade and Captain Kelly Bade were present to answer questions.

Item 1. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart for Mike Glynn to moderate the meeting. Motion carried.

Item 2. Mike Glynn presented the fire department operating costs for the past calendar year. Fire operation costs were $9.68 per minute. Emergency medical operations costs were $3.81 per minute. These costs were presented to Greendale Township for fire protection for the next contract year. A lengthy discussion followed. Greendale Township indicated they would respond within sixty days as to whether they would accept or reject Lee Township’s offer.
