Minutes from the January 9, 2006 regular meeting of the
Lee Township Board of Trustees

 

The meeting held at the Lee Township Hall was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 P.M. and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Present were Supervisor David Yost, Trustees Dale Wolfgang and Mike Glynn, Clerk Ronald Rippee, and Treasurer William Stewart.

 

Item 1.  Dale Wolfgang moved, supported by Bill Stewart to approve the minutes from the December 12^th 2005 regular meeting. Motion carried.

 

Item 2.  The Treasurer’s report was read and placed on file.

 

Item 3.  Bill Stewart moved, supported by Mike Glynn to approve payment of the bills as presented and with the addition of: $61.50 to Laser Connection, $85.00 to Braun Kendrick & Finkbeiner, $7.23 to MVW Associates, $243.75 to Dale Stanton, $7.44 to Carol Alexander, and $267.50 to the Midland County Treasurer. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Item 4.  Bill Stewart moved, supported by Dale Wolfgang to approve payment of the fire department bills as presented and the addition of $9.49 to Ace Hardware, $300.00 to Business Micro Resource Corp., $64.14 to McLeod, and $196.53 to James Bass. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

 

Item 5.  Bill Stewart moved, supported by Mike Glynn to approve the payroll. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Item 6.  Mike Glynn moved, supported by Dale Wolfgang to pay mileage to those firefighters driving their personnel vehicles to pick up firefighters who ride with EMS while transporting patients. Also to pay James Bade Sr. for mileage to and from Saginaw incurred during the repair of tanker 1130. Mileage will be paid at the current IRS allowable rate. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Public comments were opened at 7:28 P.M. and closed at 7:30 P.M.

 

Item 7.  Mike Glynn moved, supported by Mike Glynn to pay the cost to for the Board of Review to attend a training seminar in February. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Item 8.  Mike Glynn moved, supported by Bill Stewart to refund the $95.00 solid waste assessment to Ed Schultz if he had already paid the fee. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Item 9.  Mike Glynn moved, supported by Dale Wolfgang to pay the Supervisor’s dues of $90.00 to the Michigan Association of Townships. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.    

 

Item 10. Dale Wolfgang moved, supported by Mike Glynn for the Township to purchase a copy of the State Property Maintenance Code. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

 

Public comments were opened at 8:12 P.M. and closed at 8:20 P.M.
