Minutes from the November 13, 2006 regular meeting of the

Lee Township Board of Trustees

The Supervisor called the meeting held at the Lee Township Hall to order at 7:00 P.M.

Present were Trustees Mike Glynn and Dale Wolfgang, Clerk Ron Rippee, Treasurer Bill Stewart, and Supervisor David Yost. Guest Brett Schwenke updated Rowe Incorporated’s

progress on the site preparation for the new hall and cemetery expansion.

Item 1. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to approve the minutes from the October 9, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.

Item 2. The Treasurer’s report was read and placed on file.

Item 3. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to approve payment of the general bills with the following additions:

$25.00 to Joyce Gandy for cleaning deposit return

$25.00 to Jim Kenyon for cleaning deposit return

$25.00 to Norma Stevens for cleaning deposit return

$26.70 to Margaret Baker for election mileage

$63.04 to Printing Systems, Inc. for voter ID cards

$93.66 to Ronald Rippee for Clerks’ petty cash refill

$105.00 to Burnham & Flower Insurance Group for Kerns 2006 pension

contribution

$128.26 to William Stewart for October’s Treasurer expenses

$4,112.49 to McMillian Maintenance Services for July, August, and

September’s ground maintenance

Item 4. Bill Stewart moved supported by Mike Glynn to approve payment of the fire department bills as presented. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 5. Mike Glynn moved supported Bill Stewart to approve the payroll payment.

Item 6. Mike Glynn moved supported by Bill Stewart to appoint Jeremy Allen Treichel to the fire department. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 7. Mike Glynn moved supported by Bill Stewart to appoint Christopher Duane Ice to the fire department. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Public comments were opened at 7:53 P.M. and closed at 8:07 P.M.

Item 8. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to send all interested Board members and deputies to the MTA convention. Lodging to be determined by availability.

Item 9. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart for Lee Township to sign the proposed water service agreement between Lee Township and Water District #1. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 10. Mike Glynn moved supported by Bill Stewart to accept Gary’s Fence proposal to repair the fence at the park. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Mike yes. Motion carried.

Item 11. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to accept LaFramboise Electric’s proposal for installing new lighting at the park. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 12. Mike Glynn moved supported by Bill Stewart to send all interested Board members, deputies and spouses to the MCTOA Christmas diner. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried

Item 13. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to reinburse fire department MFRs for the initial application fee to the National Emergency Medical Technician Registry. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 14. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to accept the resignation of Toney Kerns from the Lee Township Planning Commission. Motion carried.

Public comments were re-opened at 9:14 P.M. and closed again at 9:20 P.M.
