Minutes from the May 8, 2006 Regular meeting of the

Lee Township Board of Trustees

The Supervisor called the meeting held at the Lee Township Hall to order at 7:00 P.M.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. Present were Trustees Dale Wolfgang and Mike Glynn, Clerk Ron Rippee, Treasurer Bill Stewart, Supervisor Dave Yost, and guest Gary Hicks from Republic Services.

Item 1. Gary Hicks presented a proposal from Republic Services for door- to- door trash pick up.

Item 2. Bill Stewart moved supported Dale Wolfgang to approve the minutes from the April 10, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.

Item 3. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to approve the minutes from April 13, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.

Item 4. Mike Glynn moved supported by Bill Stewart to approve the minutes from the April 18, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.

Item 5. The Treasurer’s report was read and placed on file.

Item 6. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to pay the general township bills as presented with the additions of:

$420.16 to Midland Paper Company for park cleaning supplies

$95.00 to I-Commander for April’s access fee

$25.00 to Lisa Heron for hall rental refund

$25.00 to Cristy Ludwig for hall rental refund

$100.00 to Dan Coe for webmaster services

Item 7. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to pay the fire department bills as presented. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 8. Bill Stewart moved supported by Mike Glynn to approve the payroll. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried

Public Comments were opened at 7:32 P.M. and closed at 7:33 P.M.

Item 9. Bill Stewart moved supported by Mike Glynn to pay the expenses of those board members and spouses who attend the MCTOA June 1 meeting. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 10. Mike Glynn moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to re-new MVW Associates contract for assessing through March 31, 2007. The cost will be $8.254 per parcel for 1954 parcels. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 11. Mike Glynn moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to re-new the contract between Lee Township and Midland Tomorrow at a cost of $883.40. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.

Item 12. Bill Stewart moved supported by Mike Glynn to re-new McMillan Maintenance

Services contract for cemetery and park maintenance. The cost will be:

Yearly cemetery maintenance $6,250.00

Openings & closings weekdays $300.00

Opening & closings Sundays $350.00

Foundations $0.20 per square inch

Yearly park maintenance $5,100.00

Item 13. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang for the park caretaker to make arrangements for the stump in the middle of the driveway ground out. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, Bill yes, and Dave yes. Motion carried.
