The Clerk called the meeting at the Lee Township Hall to order at 7:00 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was said. Present were Trustees Dale Wolfgang and Mike Glynn, Clerk Ron Rippee, and Treasurer Bill Stewart.
Guest Yvonne Corbet spoke briefly addressing issues facing the Midland County.
Item 1. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart for Mike Glynn to chair the meeting. Motion carried.
Item 2. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to approve the minutes from the March 13, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.
Item 3. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to approve the minutes from the March 22, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.
Item 4. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to approve the April 3, 2006 meeting. Motion carried.
Item 5. The Treasurer’s report was read and placed on file.

$177.79 to William Stewart for March’s office expenses
$25.00 to Pam Coughlin for hall rent

$81.00 to Walt’s Portable Rest rooms for portable restroom rent
$6.67 to Polack Corporation for toner shipping
$310.00 to the Midland County Treasurer for trailer park fees
$72.50 to Capitol Communications Systems from the fire department
for copier maintenance was also included in this motion.

Item 9. Dale Wolfgang moved supported by Bill Stewart to pay the expenses of those board member who attend the May 18th accounting seminar in Mt Pleasant. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, and Bill yes. Motion carried.
Item 10. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang for the Board to accept the Michigan Township Participating Plan schedule without changes. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, and Mike yes. Motion carried.
Item 11. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang to pay the expenses of those board members who attend the MTA Spring Conference. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, and Bill yes. Motion carried.
Item 12. Bill Stewart moved supported by Dale Wolfgang for the Board to grant the Deputy Clerk in the absence of Clerk and the Deputy Treasurer in the absence of the Treasurer the power to sign Township documents. Dale yes, Mike yes, Ron yes, and Bill yes. Motion carried.
